Joey Kilrain proudly presents
HIS 1964 CHEVROLET IMPALA

10/11/00
I have had the Impala for about a week now. And I couldn't tell anyone until I got pictures of it.

How I found the car was in the area where my loft is, in Tribeca. Of course I saw the car a mile away because how much I always wanted one. Noticed that their was a for-sale sign in the window. So I called the number. About 2 weeks later, BANG! The skinny bastard from South Philly was chillin in a '64!!

How I got the money for the Impala was by selling a painting to a woman in NYC, and then using that money to buy the Impala.

After I do some engine work on it I am definitely and without a doubt GONNA GET HYDRAULICS!!

Let me know what you guys think of the pictures :) kilrain@mindspring.com

First one to respond gets to HIT DA SWITCHES with me on Broadway when I get the pumps >:)

See the rebuilt engine here

ENGINE SPECS:

All stock engine, tranny and rear

283 V8
2 barrel carb

3 speed (the infamous "3 in the tree")

The car does run, but it needs to have the block rebuilt. Everything from the "O-rings" to the valves are no good. It looks like fire has started under the car everytime I start it up. Not to mention that it was about 184,000 miles on it :)

BODY SPECS:

4 door (without the pillars)

Original hubcaps and paint job.

Minor rust on front fenders and 2 out of the 4 doors.

I also need a new back seat because of a few rips.

All chrome is in excellent condition.
